  • Review: iMod – Thought Promotion

There are many types of blogs on the Internet, but the two most common, at least from what I have noticed, are blogs that provide money making tips and personal blogs. The money making type blogs usually provide the same posts as other blogs, and don’t really have much of anything new to say. The personal blogs, on the other hand, contain posts on anything and everything in the life of the author. This can lead to some very entertaining posts.

This week’s review is a personal blog from an individual in South Africa, and like most personal blogs this one tends to lost its focus at times.

  • How to Create Static Pages in Blogger

    Note:
Blogger now supports static pages. To learn how to create pages in Blogger, follow the instructions outlined in How to Create Pages in Blogger.

With some coding, you can easily create static pages in Blogger. For many blog authors, WordPress is the management system of choice. It provides the most flexibility and options for managing blogs. For those that are not using WordPress, Blogger is a good, free option. Blogger, however, is not nearly as flexible to use as WordPress. There are fewer options and templates for that system. The one drawback of using Blogger is the inability of uploading, and using static HTML pages.

There is a simple workaround that you can use to create pages in your Blogger blog that will mimic static pages. I will discuss how to create and use those pages in this post.

I recently was informed of someone having an issue with Internet Explorer. The problem happened when they clicked on a link that opened a new browser window. Once the new window was opened, the new Web page was not requested and the browser window remained blank.

  • Review: Insight on a Gamer

The electronic gaming industry is huge with many games earning as much as blockbuster Hollywood movies. The industry brings in billions of dollars, which at times is more than the movie industry. There are many fans of electronic games, for which I am one, so it is by no coincidence that there are many blogs dedicated to this topic.

This week I look at the first gaming focused blog, since I started writing free reviews, called Insight on a Gamer.

  • Blog Traffic Stats – One Year Later

In my previous post I talked about how Technically Easy evolved over the past year, as well as discussed the name, domain and logo. In continuing with my one year of blogging, I will now discuss the traffic Technically Easy has received over the past year.

For those new to web sites or blogging, you may have seen similar traffic stats to your site. Although the numbers aren’t huge by some standards, they are still good for a one year old site.

  • Review: Michael Aulia’s Blog

Those that know me know I like technology and that I try to keep up with the latest gadgets and toys. I visit many technology blogs and web sites to keep up to date. Although I won’t own many of the new toys, I still like to see what is out there.

This week’s review is about technology, although not so much on gadgets and toys, but technology in general. I have read this blog in the past and it is usually one of the most popular in the “Technology” category on Entrecard.

  • Review: NASCAR Racing’s Biggest Fan Ron Ripple

Some time ago I reviewed a blog about F1 racing called F1-ToGo, which up to this point has been the only racing web site I reviewed. That changes this week as I review another racing blog.

Unlike the last racing review, this one is focused around NASCAR, and from what you will see it is just as well done as the F1 blog.

  • How to Hide the Posted By Line in Blogger

I recently received an e-mail asking about removing the “Posted By” line for posts on Blogger. The technique for removing this line is similar to removing such things as the date line from a post.

In this post I will provide two ways to remove the line. The first method will show how to removed the line for all posts, while the second method will show you how to remove the line from static pages.
