    I recently wrote two posts regarding designing Web sites: Designing Web Pages: Tables or CSS and Introduction to Cascading Stylesheets (CSS). The information presented in both of those articles may be advanced for those just starting out with creating Web pages.

    I decided to create this post to provide an introduction to HTML and create a Web page. This post will create a very simple Web page that you can then display in a Web browser.

  • Review: Upcoming Technologies

    I enjoy technology, which is evident in the fact that I am the author of a technology blog. Since I have started writing free reviews, I haven’t really reviewed many technology-related blog.

    This week I will look at a blog that actually has a very long title, but I will shorten it to Upcoming Technolgies. In case you are curious, the full title I was given was “Upcoming Technologies,Current Technologies,Reviews,News,Info and more!”

  • Review: The Orange Paper

    While most blogs regarding money are about making it online, some are focused on more saving and investing. These types of blogs usually provide tips on playing the markets and how to invest for the greatest return. As always, however, it is still better to consult with a financial advisor.

    The blog I am reviewing this week is about saving and investing money. The catch, though, is that the blog is more focused on investing in India than any other country. This makes the blog more unique than other blogs I have reviewed.

  • Do You Quit Too Early?

    I am active in a forum called Website Babble, and while I’m not an expert on many subjects, I try to help out others where I can. Recently, however, I noticed a post where a member was getting fed up with his web sites since he was having trouble getting visitors.

    For many people it can be frustrating when starting a web site or blog. It is usually slow going in the beginning, but for most people they seem to quit before their site generates a substantial amount of visitors.

    The electronic gaming industry is huge with many games earning as much as blockbuster Hollywood movies. The industry brings in billions of dollars, which at times is more than the movie industry. There are many fans of electronic games, for which I am one, so it is by no coincidence that there are many blogs dedicated to this topic.

  • DNS Issue when Accessing a Web Page

    I recently experienced a problem that looked like a DNS error. The error appeared in the web browser after trying to load a Web page. I have never seen the error message before, but after reading the message it was easy to determine it had to do with domain name servers.

    After doing some testing, and then research, I was able to find a solution to the problem.
