    Facebook is become the leader in the social network space, and with it there are also hazards of using Facebook that everyone should be aware of. Over the past few years, Facebook has been in the news for both good and bad reasons. The bad reasons, however, seem to be the ones that linger for months after they have occurred, with security usually at the forefront of the conversations.

    Facebook has over 500 million members, and I have heard it can be as high as 750 million. With those 500+ million members it also has the responsibility of managing a massive amount of personal information, videos, photos, etc. from those members. This is a huge undertaking to say the least, but with such responsibility there is also the adverse affect of causing many issues.

    The expected release of Windows 8 has made the market so jittery that Apple admitted to setting up a Web site to download a fake one. So, what’s so special about this new operating system from Microsoft? The company is expected to unveil some details about Windows 8 at a Build conference scheduled between September 13 and 16, 2011 in Anaheim, Calif., which will bring together software developers from all parts of the world.

    I’ve been working from home for more than a decade. Working remotely can mean working off-site and online for employers using email, chat, and web-based collaboration apps. Or you might own your own business and have a network of people that you deal with regularly.

    Most people think that working remotely means you are in your pajamas all day. And friends and family think you are free to run their errands and talk on the phone all day. Now, don’t get me wrong, there are those days that I do stay in my pajamas, that is definitely a perk but all of my days aren’t quite so easy. I am trying to make a living after all.
