The Top 5 Free Cloud Computing Companies

Our data files and folders are commonly stored in our computers. We also use external storage devices such as USB, DVD and CD’s to keep an extra copy of our most important files.

However, storing data in this manner is not enough and has not become outdated. There is a big chance of losing these files if something happens on our computer hardware or we lost the external storage device. One of the good things that the Web has given us is the use of a cloud backup service for free.

This is the new trend that makes things easier on using your computer. Files are more secured with the service provided by these cloud computing companies. Following is a list of the top 5 free cloud computing companies.

1. 4Shared

A popular file hosting website, 4shared provides you with a 10GB of free storage space. Sign up for an account and get your free storage to upload your video, music, MP3, etc. The homepage features a search box giving you the opportunity to look for files on the site, which made it well accepted by users. You can use 4shared whether you are using Windows, Mac, Linux, Blackberry, Android, iPhone or Symbian.

2. Apple iCloud

You can easily access your apps, music, latest pictures, etc. from other gadgets that you want to use. Your contacts, calendar and email are updated on all devices without the need to synchronize or managed them. iCloud will do organize them.

3. SkyDrive

Offering a huge free storage space, Microsoft SkyDrive gives you a total of 25GB storage space. You can create your folders to store your files, music, pictures, etc. by using its user-friendly Web interface. This is even made easier because of the drag and drop tool. To get this free storage space, you need to have a Windows Live account.

4. CX.com

With the 10GB free storage space offered by CX.com, you can access and synchronize your files to various gadgets such as your desktop, laptop, iPhone, Mac, iPod touch, iPad, etc. It features actual time synchronization, storage security, privately and publicly sharing of files, reciprocal group teamwork as well as smart discoveries.
