Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy Nexus, the first smartphone to run Android 4.0, will launch in the UK on 17 November.
After the phenomenal success of its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy SII, the manufacturer will be hoping the new device will attract the same level of headlines and anticipation.
The Nexus will have a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD screen with a 1280 x 720 resolution.
There is a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The device will be available with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.
