    Motorola has pulled back the curtains on its latest smartphone which will be fighting against competing high end handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X.

    The model in question is the new Motorola Atrix HD, which is positioning itself somewhere between the very pinnacle of the market and the more affordable mid range offerings.

    It will feature a 4.5 inch touchscreen display with a native resolution of 1280×720, which is why the phone has earned the ‘HD’ tag as part of its name. It will also utilise a dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

    The wait is over. Microsoft yesterday announced it’s entry into the tablet market with the Microsoft Surface tablet. Apple’s iPad is by far the dominate tablet on the market today, so it will remain to be seen if Microsoft’s Surface can compete with the iPad once it is released.

    From the quick preview Microsoft provided, there are definitely some interesting features of its Surface tablet. Some of the options provided are things that some people have been hoping for, but I’m sure there are still items that others wish Microsoft had also included. Overall, it will be interesting to see how well Microsoft’s tablet will perform in the market.

    So, your son is finally about to graduate from high school. That’s good news, right? Well, it’s not so good news if your son is one of the many students who are clueless about their future university choices, majors and college courses and degrees. While most high school students (83 percent of surveyed high schoolers) are planning to get a college degree, not all of them are determined to get to college immediately (with over 99 percent of them saying college is more of a long term goal).
