Welcome Google Play, previously known as the Android app market, which challenges Apple in every right. This new Google powered app market is accessible to all users with an upgraded Android smartphone. The store has grown to house e-books, music, movies, and endless apps.
Of course, Google has managed to integrate their main services into the smartphone world as well. Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Chrome are a few apps that are popular to the Android community recently.
Best Apps on the Market
Some of the best new games have thrived on the new Google Play market. Take the Temple Run series, for example. Temple Run 2 has been downloaded over 10 million times on Google Play and it was just released less than a month ago. If you aren’t familiar, Temple Run is a game where the user plays as a running character who can jump, slide, and laterally avoid obstacles while trying to maintain a running score.
Productivity and information driven apps are also available. Check out the app Field Trip. This app helps users learn about their state’s history as well as great local places to shop and eat. Many people have a lot of fun learning obscure information through Field Trip; you may like this app as well.
Evernote is one of the best productivity apps which allows users to stay on top of all their tasks. Whether users would like to take notes or record videos with a couple photos in between, Evernote is the one stop shop for you. Not to mention that this app works across all devices from your laptop to your smartphone!

Samsung and Google Go Hand-in-Hand
Google has partnered with their friends over at Samsung with a number of products. Samsung has manufactured Google’s first laptop computer, the Google Chromebooks. Google has also gained great recognition from Samsung’s Galaxy family. The Samsung Galaxy smartphone is said to be better than the iPhone and is certainly one of the most powerful devices on the market today.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be the latest in the smartphone family and the product will be presented by Samsung on March 14, 2013. The product is rumored to have an auto-scroll feature which scrolls through the screen’s content based on head movement cues which are judged through the device’s front camera.
You will certainly hear of the Galaxy roar once the product has been released to the product and with the power of Google’s app market, this may be one of the best handsets to date.
