Free Software Anyone?

I recently reviewed Michael Aulia’s Blog, which I have visited a few times in the past. When I verified that the link to his blog worked properly I was immediately drawn to a post about free software. This post mentioned how you can get a free license of either Microsoft Vista Ultimate, Photoshop CS3, or VMWare Workstation 6.

Now I know many of you are sceptical about such an offer, as I am, however, after reading the post and then visiting the web site with the offer, I decided to see what will happen if I completed the conditions. This post is one part of those conditions.

The Conditions

The free license is offered by the folks over at bastillwork.net, and from what I read on the site, the offer is good for this week. Each week there will be three other free software titles up for grabs.

The most unusual part of the free offer are the easy conditions that need to be satisfied to get a license of the products. The conditions are as follows:

Web Site Owners and Bloggers

  1. Write an article about this offer (or our services) on your site, be sure to link to them from the article.
  2. Subscribe to the web site for updates via email.
  3. Stumble the article with your comment.

For Others

  1. Write at least five quality reviews (or comments) for five distinct software listed on their web site (be sure to write a quality review, as they will check the article after you submit it).
  2. Subscribe to the web site for updates via email.
  3. Stumble the article with your comment.

So far the conditions seem easy, especially for bloggers. There is just a bit more to do to satisfy the conditions.

After you have finished, send an email to admin@bastillwork.net from the same email you used to subscribe to the RSS feed. In this email please include:

  1. State where the post about them is on your site.
  2. Your StumbleUpon nickname.
  3. One of the 3 famous software above.

You should receive the license in your email after 48 hours.

I will give this a try and let you know how it turns out.
