Top 3 Portable Devices for Working on the Go

Compared to just 5 years ago, the world today is much more hectic and fast-paced. Just working hard is not enough – you have to be able to deliver results instantly and accurately on multiple projects at a time. Utilize these three portable devices below to help you better manage your time by working on the go:

Portable Devices for Working on the Go

1. Smartphone

By combining standard phone features with computer functionality, the smartphone is a multi-purpose tool that can supercharge your productivity. You can catch up on the news, check your email and browse the internet while you’re waiting for a client. Need a small break? You can download games, listen to music and even stream videos. And with multiple forms of instant communication, the smartphone offers the quickest way to get a hold of someone.

3. Laptop or Tablet

Laptops are the device of choice for many people who run computer intensive programs or games, and need all of the same programs that are on their desktop PC. Laptops also come in a large variety of sizes, specs and prices.

Tablets have a more portable form factor because of the lack of a physical keyboard and are like larger smartphones. You can do light work on it and comfortably use it when lying in bed, in the car, standing or with a single hand. However, a tablet may not satisfy all your computing needs.

If you can’t decide between a laptop and a tablet, an Ultrabook is another option to consider. Ultrabooks are the best of both worlds because of the higher computing power than a tablet and a sleeker, thinner look than a laptop. Most Ultrabooks are only 0.8 inches in thickness, weigh less than 3.3 lbs, and generally, cost less than $1,000. Ultrabooks emphasize productivity without sacrificing portability, making it a popular choice for mobile warriors.
