Guest Blogging is becoming very common among internet users now-a-days. Thousands of guest bloggers are available online with great competition between them. These guest bloggers work hard for writing new content or posts for other blogs to get a backlink to increase the traffic of their blog and to increase their online reputation.
Any blogger measures their value by the number of articles he has written for other blogs and the type of blogs where his articles have been published. Beside all this, there are certain pints where a guest blogger should pay more attention.
Following are the four important points to take care of:
1. Getting a Back links
The best thing to write a guest post is to get a link back of your blog. This backlink helps to gain the traffic of that blog directly to our blog. So this becomes the direct source of traffic. Select the most appropriate keyword for your blog and link your blog URL with this keyword in your guest post. This keyword linking will help you to get search engines traffic also. Don’t forget to leave your blog URLs as such also. But the quantity of keyword links should be much higher than solely URL.
2. Communication
Some bloggers forget to reply the comments of the users. After publishing your guest post, it’s your responsibility to communicate with the readers through their comments. By answering them properly on their comments will increase your online reputation. Every blogger should take care of this thing.
3. Don’t limit yourself in a Single Approach
Don’t follow a single approach for doing guest blogging. Like, if you are publishing 10 articles in highly reputed sites that drive you 200 visitors a day, is not always sufficient for you. Instead of only this, you can write 20 articles for small guest blogging sites of your relevant niche will definitely drive you more traffic than earlier and overall you will get a huge traffic.
4. Portfolio Makes your Online Reputation
Building a strong portfolio is good for your online reputation. The number of posts you have published will decide your online reputation as a blogger. If you have published your posts in some good reputed blogs then you will be the celebrity among your friends. These are your achievements and you can write it in your Author bio profile or in any personal blog if you have.

You also need to do some research about the website you are guest posting on. How old is the site, how many indexed pages, what the Alexa ranking, do they have outbound links on every page. You want to guest post on a well established site.
From my point of view, communication with the users that post comments is most important. You as a user develop a feeling of being part of the community and the blogger is getting closer to their readers, learning what they want and how they want it. It is a win-win situation for both of the parts involved.
If you want to be an efficient guest blogger, you must need to follow the tips above. The tips could really help you to become a good and responsible guest blogger.
I honestly do not understand the meaning to write your articles for other blogs, if you already have your own blog.
Is this really so effective?
Yes, I get a little traffic, backlinks, but not better to place this article on your blog and thereby increase the reputation and get traffic from search engines, and much easier to communicate with readers in one place and not watch a bunch of blogs where you placed your article.

Hi Paul, as you know and watched I’ve taken Guest blogging and have been hosting some of the great guest blog contests all year around. I think guest blogging is in fact the key to why blog engage has gotten so big. The contests drive traffic and educate bloggers about our community.
