I recently had the opportunity to review the Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 software and was impressed with how well it performed. I found the software to use up very little memory compared to other security software. In addition, I also found that Bitdefender Internet Security was one of the top performing security software on the market, as verified by independent tests.
After writing the review, Bitdefender has provided me with 5 free licenses that I can distribute in a giveaway. If are are interested in entering the giveaway, the rules are simple:

I continue to get a Bitdefender screen stating I need to enable javascript. Does it need to be enabled for a particular browser or just in my computer settings.
I’m not sure why BitDefender is asking you to enabled Javascript. Where does it ask you to enable Javascript?

I used bitdefender internet security 2010. Now I’m using Eset Smart Secutiry 5. Of course like u i am not a fan of paid antivirus or other security products, but i am helpless and have to inform all of you that, both of the security products are the best. Eset is easier to use than bitdefender. Bitdefender has so many features so it is for the computer experts not for the novices. I like bitdefender than eset because it has the IM encryption feature and data backup service. One can get higher security and backup system with the same prices the other companies are offering. I am looking forward to using the bitdefender internet security 2012 and hope it will break all the previous records. Oh, forget to mention that bitdefender internet security does not slow your computer and it sometimes carries away ones’ freedom since one have to go through all the permission protocol of the Bitdefender Internet Security Software. But this is the best.

BitDefender is great. It seems to me (and I may be wrong), that the European countries (i.e. Austria, Germany, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania etc.) exceed us Americans in Internet Security. The better internet security programs are all headquartered in Europe. I like BitDefender because of the things mentioned above: minimal notifications, auto-pilot mode, and great firewall with no “overkill”. If it does block something “not hazardous”, you can easily remedy it to let it pass the next time.
I love Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 because of its AutoPilot function. Sometimes I don’t need to be disturbed by antivirus and I activate Autopilot function. I like it. No user interaction is required, no more notifications. And I trust it because Bitdefender use high technology for antivirus and mallware detection.

The feature I like the most in Bitdefender is the BitDefender TrafficLight. It tells you if the page is safe BEFORE you visit it. That’s something everyone wants to know.
