However, many people don’t know that it is possible to make money reselling web hosting. This is one of the best ways of making a consistent monthly income online. Therefore, if you can offer quality services at an affordable rate, you could be making a significant income every month.

What exactly does web host reselling involve? It is simply about selling space on the internet without having to install your own servers. You purchase space on the internet from a credible web host, and then divide it into smaller portions which you sell to your customers. The great thing about this business is that you don’t have to worry about overheads for installing servers. In addition, since you are providing virtual goods and services, you don’t require any physical storage space.

So how do you get started? You begin by searching online for web hosts who allow reselling. You can find them through any major search engine using terms such as ‘web host reselling’ or ‘resell web host’. Take time to compare services and prices.

Before joining any plan for web host reselling, there are two things you need to consider. First, you should ensure that the plan you choose allows upgrading. This might be necessary if all the space originally offered gets used up. Secondly, make sure the web host offers as much support and help as necessary, especially if you have limited understanding of web hosting. However, it is advisable to have at least some basic knowledge at the onset.

Once you choose a web host, you should then build a site that targets prospective customers. Make sure the pricing and benefits of your packages are clearly displayed. You should also offer helpful articles on various elements of web hosting. Besides helping prospective customers, these articles could also help enhance your site’s rank in search engines.

You will need to carry out some research before deciding the rates for your packages. How much you charge will be determined by who you are targeting and what each package is offering. For instance, you could create packages that target individuals and others that target small businesses.

Charles Mburugu often writes about social media, technology and blogging tips. However, you would be wrong. The greatest thing you can offer your visitors and customers is trust. When you sit back and consider the nature of the internet, it is very easy to see why this would be the case. Online, anyone can pretend to be anything they want. With a computer and internet access, criminals can portray themselves as legitimate businessmen and women, conning people out of thousands of dollars, ruining credit, and destroying lives.

As a result, most consumers are at least savy enough to recognize this fact. They are not willing to give personal and financial information to institutions and sites they do not trust. Because of this, your business needs to ensure that trust is your number one priority when trying to convince visitors to conduct financial transactions with you. But how can you do this?

SSL Certificate

First and foremost, you need to make sure your SSL certificate is up to date. SSL (short for secure socket layer) certificates essentially denote websites that are up to date with the latest in security procedures when it comes to encrypting sensitive data. If you, or your site’s host, are not up to date, a warning may come up when a customer begins the checkout process. This can cause customers to immediately abandon their transaction, as well as not return to your site. Although your site might still be secure, if your certificate is out of date, it will not matter to the customer. For this reasons, it is a good idea to conduct a few test transactions a week yourself, as well as stay in touch with your hosting company.

Secure Checkout

Also, consider having your checkout procedure verified by one of the many trusted verification companies out there. By doing so, you will be issued a badge icon you can place on your web site that tells customers that you are not merely some fly by night operation, and that 3rd party security professionals have tested and verified your security system. You may also want to include words like “secure checkout” on your checkout links.

Privacy Policy

Finally, have a readily available copy of your privacy policy on each page. Although, in reality, most internet users forgo any fine print when trying to make a transaction, it is important to have a privacy policy in order to protect yourself, as well as the customer. By writing a privacy policy that stands up for the rights of your customers, you are not only doing them a service, but you are doing yourself and your business a service. As mentioned, if a customer feels like they can trust you and that you will protect their information, they will be more likely to do business with you. If the customer feels threatened in any way, they will likely head for the hills, never to return.

How To Take Your Traffic From Researchers To Customers

10 Essential Things You Need to Build a Computer

5 Ways to Build Traffic With Infographics

How to Build Trust with Customers in Checkout is a post from: Technically Easy
This feed is for personal, non-commercial use only.
(Digital Fingerprint: 1a03dc4332cf9dca0bc3737c1cc3095c)

When a Banner Brings in a 1000 Sales

Making Money

Are you a web-totter, a geek or an internet savvy person? If you are any of these, then you most certainly would have noticed the ubiquitous, catchy little colorful web things (known as Banner Ads) that adorn the web in its own right. In fact if you have spent any time surfing lately, it’s unlikely that you have missed this popular form of advertisement, which although might differ in their appearance, subject matter and approach, in their basic function they are absolutely cohesive: a clickable patch designed to directly take users to the advertiser’s Web site. Clever, isn’t it? And good, bad, ugly: there are all kinds!

So What Are Banner Ads?

Banner ads are simple online advertisements whose importance in the internet medium is comparatively immense. Banner advertising offers complete support by driving in quality traffic that generates sales. In a friendlier lingo, a click is all it needs to click it big time!

But amusingly, in this ether medium that is frequented by almost 5 million banners everyday, only around 10,000 banners truly justify its being and live up to the expectation by bringing in traffic and sales. The rest are just money, time and effort wasted. Clearly, just making a banner or running a campaign is not enough.

Here are 3 must follow general rules and 2 essential tips that will help your banner be one of those 10,000, which makes it.

3 General Rules

1. Use as many creative versions you can think of: How many times have you experienced the phenomena of a particular banner working brilliantly for a week and then drastically dropping in margins? In fact if you are running a banner ad campaign it is very likely that you have. The reason behind such a change is plain old staleness. If you want your banner to bring in sales, change its creatives regularly

2. Tweaking and heavy optimization: It is necessary for you to duplicate your creative with a little tweak based on key factors like geography, time of the day, age group, etc. Why? Because different people will be attracted to different creatives. Make a set of banners and classify to which group of place or age group you’d want to target. Optimize accordingly and you’ll see how you get sales. Serving to specific people always helps in getting better ROI.

3. Do not trade volume for profit: Believe it or not, there is nothing called quick cash in this world. To get favorable returns, one must work hard. Do not over buy banner spaces and lower their margins. Keep quality buying space and increase their margin. Make a good banner with as many creatives as possible and keep experimenting on the same spaces. This will get you money on long term.

2 Very Essential Tips

1. Video Flash: Relax! It is not streaming video and paying for it. It is rather a simple flash files made to look like a video. People who have run campaigns have found this technique extremely useful and we’d go as far as to say that it works. Compress small clips and place it into a flash file, to be repeated over and over again. Visual communication doesn’t necessarily have to expensive.

2. Changing the campaign with unbranded creatives: Try to get permission from networks, although they won’t really like it, to not use their branded creatives and instead change it accordingly to where its clicking. Why? Because this way you’d be able to find out which campaign is earning a higher ROI and secondly it would alleviate your risks.

We need customers and not traffic. To turn your traffic into potential customers, you do need to follow a couple of rules that’ll assure you sales. Hence, if you are running a campaign that involves banners, make sure to check the above 5 points to make your banner bring in a 1000 sales for you.

No related posts.

When a Banner Brings in a 1000 Sales is a post from: Technically Easy
This feed is for personal, non-commercial use only.
(Digital Fingerprint: 1a03dc4332cf9dca0bc3737c1cc3095c)

How to Implement an Email Marketing Campaign

Making Money

Technology

Email promoting is a relatively easy, inexpensive and productive method for modern businesses to stay in touch with their clients and also increase their particular incomes. For instance, a newsletter helps you communicate messages in your organization while at the same time demonstrating your own depth and experience, your greatest resource for your business. Distributing an email newsletter ensures that your company remains in the thoughts of your expanding network. In addition, good email newsletters are normally sent to friends of the receiver of the mail, thus expanding the network even further.

Research your audience

So where do you start? To begin with, find out what interests your audience. Observe them. What are the common questions people ask about your company? It is likely that, for every single customer who asks a pertinent question, there are many other who have the same question.

Track and monitor

Find out exactly what your web visitors read on your website as well as in your email messages. The great thing about email promotions is that everything concerning the email can be tracked. When you get started, your email reporting outcomes will show which articles grabbed your readers’ attention. You can also provide your readers with fun ways of delivering opinions, which would mean discovering much more in regards to the exact interests of individuals and what they would like to learn about.

Offer free advice

Give away some cost free advice to support your readers. Give them something to think about. You don’t have to be an expert to the world on a subject. You only have to be a specialist to your customer. Offer them one thing which could be useful to them. Each newsletter needs to have fast information blocks or brief elements. You could also offer your readers ways of looking at other pieces of content which you found interesting. Keep records of content thoughts that will make getting started easier.

Create a mailing list

Put together your content database and acquire authorization to integrate email addresses in your subscriber list. Next, start collecting fresh contact information with permission. No one would want to be added to mailing lists without their permission. It is therefore vital that you inform individuals you want to add to your email publication and let them know they can leave the list whenever they wish. Next, find a marketing program that fits well with the business. A good email marketing service will offer email list management services, reporting capabilities, emailing and newsletter themes.

Using the right program can be simple to operate and inexpensive, and will definitely ensure a professional outlook when the publication is sent. An email newsletter can help you generate more money, though it does not have to be a full time job. Though a monthly publication would be ideal, a newsletter every three months can be a great way to get started.

5 Biggest Internet Marketing Scams

Best Strategies for Marketing Your Business Online

Free Software Anyone?

Is Your SEO Campaign Stagnating?

How to Implement an Email Marketing Campaign is a post from: Technically Easy
This feed is for personal, non-commercial use only.
(Digital Fingerprint: 1a03dc4332cf9dca0bc3737c1cc3095c)

Google AdSense: What Ad Types Perform Best?

Making Money

One of the more popular questions about Google’s AdSense that many people seem to have has to do with ad types. The answer, as with anything technology-related, is “it depends.” The good news is that Google’s AdSense interface allows you to find out for yourself.

The Best Performing AdSense Ad Type is…

…it depends. I mentioned that above. No seriously, the new AdSense interface provides you with individual data related to the ad types, and all the stats of how they perform. All it requires is some time to gather the data and some testing of various ad units.

For me, I created ad units that provide both text and image/media rich ads. This way I get the best of all worlds. You can if you wish, create a separate ad unit for each type and then run the ad units on your site for a specified period of time – such as a few weeks. From there you can get some good data on your ads.

If you are like me and you run one ad unit with all the ad types, you can get a break down of the ad types in your performance reports. To view this data (in the new interface), use these steps:

At the top, click the “Performance Reports” link.

On the left side, click the down arrow next to the “Entire account by day” option.

Google AdSense - Ad Types Data Option

Select “Ad types” from the list.

The data on the right will change to show a breakdown of the stats for the various ad types. From there you can select a date range for the chart and data values.

Google AdSense - Ad Types Data Values

By selecting all the check boxes next to the ad types, and then click the “Chart” button just above the data values, you can plot the ad type data onto the chart. Instead of one line on the chart, you will see one for every ad type.

By reviewing which ad types perform the best on your site, you can then create ad units for the specific ad types. Testing ad types doesn’t stop there, as you can try different sizes, locations, and colours for the ad units until you find the best performing ads.

With Google’s AdSense interface, you can easily find out which ad types are the best performing for your site.

From the ad type options, which one is the best performing on your site?

How to Determine Your AdSense Coverage

How to Easily Add Adsense to Your Blogger Blog

How to Manually Add AdSense in a WordPress Post

Understanding Blogger Page Types

Google AdSense: What Ad Types Perform Best? is a post from: Technically Easy
This feed is for personal, non-commercial use only.
(Digital Fingerprint: 1a03dc4332cf9dca0bc3737c1cc3095c)
