3 Good Tips For New Kindle Fire Users

The Kindle Fire came out in late November of last year and it’s not showing any signs of a slow down in 2012. The tablet from Amazon is a full color magazine reading, web surfing, book reading, music playing, 7 inch power house that can easily be carried in your backpack, briefcase or purse. Making it an ideal portable fun machine.

If you recently acquired the Kindle Fire, below are three good tips for you on how to best use, play with and or maximize it’s awesomeness.

1. Find The Freebies

Just like you can with Android phones, you can also download various free Android powered books, games and apps from various online sites. Try performing a search online for what you seek, for example if you seek the “Netflix app for Kindle Fire”, I would go straight to Amazon and type this exact phrase into the search bar at top and it will come right up. Same goes for a particular book title, music title, game or app. While some will be paid apps, many will be FREE.

2. Secure Your Device

Even though Amazon is awesome in that they make it super easy to order from them, this can be a potential hazard should you lose your Kindle Fire. Should someone get a hold of it, they can go on an Amazon shopping spree via your gadget as the device will house your credit card information (via your Amazon account) should you enter that information in when you first get the device. I would not enter this in, instead make your purchases directly on Amazon via your PC, then sync up with the Fire. Or you can lock the device by entering in a secure password.

3. Accessorize To Maximize

If you love to accessorize your tech and gadgets, have at it with the Kindle Fire. You can get a groovy cover, case or skin to dress and protect the actual device, but you can do much more than that. You can add various cables such as a micro USB to USB cable to be able to view videos, movies, TV shows and more on your TV or to view photos, surf the web, listen to your music collection, etc. Also this could serve as a synching tool or to charge up the device via your PC.

The Kindle Fire is a fun to use device that you will get a lot of enjoyment out of, and with our three good tips above, hopefully you will get to use it even better or more than expected.
