ok sorry. I found the earlier comment and link on how to post html into a comment box.
so above (finally!) are the two pieces of code that i deleted to remove the older/newer post buttons on my blogspot at http://www.vivariumgallery.com

NEWER OLDER POST BUTTONS
in html code click n checkbox to expand widget templates
Use apple-f to bring up a ‘find’ window and search for the following code:

When you find it delete it carefully… only the exact phrase as shown here

then search for

delete this as well

NEWER OLDER POST BUTTONS
in html code click the checkbox to expand widget templates
Use apple-f to bring up a ‘find’ window and search for the following code:

When you find it delete it carefully… only the exact phrase as shown here
then search for

and deltte that as well
