It will stop some of the spam, but many bots may also look for other content. I find that G.A.S.P. for me works well, while others have had success with Akismet. I only had an issue with Bad Behavior one time, but it was because I had some bad software that somehow was installed and was affecting my requests to web servers. Bad Behavior picked up on it and prevented me from accessing my blog. This affect my connection through IE, but not Firefox, so I was able to find out the problem.Once I removed the problem software, I was able to access my blog without any issues.
