WP-DBManager works with wordpress 2.8?
I haven’t tried WP-DBManager with 2.8, yet. I’ll be looking to try it out soon.
Let me know how that works out. I need a backup plugin.

Thanks for sharing these tips. WP Security Scan is the only one I haven’t tried yet.
Where can I get some tips (if any) on proactively securing the WP install from hackers?
Spammers are one thing, but hackers can actually change the WP files and database.
