How To Easily Display a Blogroll on Blogger

It has been a while since I have written a post about Blogger. While I have since switched to WordPress, I still think Blogger is a good platform for those just starting out in blogs.

Many people like to create and display a list of blogs on their blog called a blogroll. The list is usually comprised of blogs that the author enjoys reading. Blogger includes a gadget that you can use that will display more than just a blog’s title. I will explore this gadget in this post.

The PNG Image Format

I have written posts about the JPEG and TIFF file format, including the advantages and disadvantages of each. Digital cameras use the JPEG format because of it’s small size, so you can store more photos on a memory card. When my G2 broke, I was provided with a Canon S3 IS because of the warranty. The S3 in itself is a great camera, and includes some features that the G2 didn’t have, like the the TTL (Through-The-Lense) viewfinder.

The one option that I do miss, however, is the ability to take RAW digital photos. I always liked editing my images before printing, and RAW photos allowed me to do that better than JPEGs. Recently I stumbled upon a utility that will allow my S3 to take RAW photos as well as change other previously unavailable settings.

One fear of a web site or blog owner is someone copying their work and publishing it on another site. In this post I will talk about the copyright of your own work as well as talk about what you do to stop it.
